Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for someone interested in working at the hospital in Halmstad.

The position is a temporary role primarily focused on orthopedics and includes standard occupational therapy tasks within orthopedic inpatient care as well as outpatient hand rehabilitation.

The work involves collaboration in interdisciplinary teams, assessments, and rehabilitation efforts based on the patient's needs, as well as reporting to the next level of care.

About the Workplace

At the Rehabilitation Clinic in Halland, there are currently about 280 employees. Here, you will find occupational therapists, dietitians, social workers, speech therapists, psychologists, physiotherapists, and nursing assistants. All professions work closely together with all clinics at Halland Hospital that provide patient services.

In the occupational therapy and physiotherapy departments at Halmstad Hospital, we are currently about thirty employees, including two rehab assistants, eight occupational therapists, eighteen physiotherapists, and one department manager. We are an engaged team with broad expertise and strong community. Here, you will have colleagues who support, challenge, and inspire you.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist – you may be completely new to the profession, but we prefer that you have some years of work experience. The most important thing for us is that you have a genuine interest in working with people and contributing to their recovery.
